CompTIA A+ Certification Examination

In order to obtain the CompTIA A+ Certification, a candidate must pass two examinations: CompTIA A+ Essentials Exam 220-701 and CompTIA A+ Practical Application Exam 220-702. The CompTIA A+ Essentials Exam tests entry-level IT professionals for their understanding of computer technology, networking, and security as well as their communication skills. The Practical Application Exam assesses the knowledge and skills covered in the Essentials exam in a more hands-on approach.

CompTIA A+ Certification course is an intensive but highly interactive five-day training program. This course uses a combination of lecture and scenario-based team and individual activities to best present the material and prepare the learner for both CompTIA A+ Certification exams. Once you successfully complete this course, you will be able to:
Recognize the components of personal computers
Identify the functions of operating systems
Implement the best practices set forth by professional computer technicians
Install and configure PC and system components
Provide maintenance and locate problems in peripheral and system components

Each exam lasts for 90 minutes and has 100 questions. In order to pass and be eligible for the CompTIA A+ Certificate, a candidate must secure at least 675 marks on the Essentials Exam and at least 700 marks on the Practical Application Exam. The exam questions are created by trainers with years of extensive CompTIA A+ training experience and are constantly updated to make sure they are current.
